Building With Next.js App Router

The App Router changes a lot about how you think about data fetching and layouts.

Server Components mean you can fetch data directly in your components without useEffect. It feels strange at first but quickly becomes natural.

Layouts are composable in a way Pages Router never was. Nesting layouts, loading states, and error boundaries per route segment is genuinely powerful.
